On Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 5pm the Mandalay Restaurante and Café will open its doors for a fund raising buffet. Food and soft drinks are included. Because we must keep the fund raising efforts entirely separate from restaurant operations we will only accept cash donations for admission to the fund raiser.
Cost: $50 CASH ONLY donation per person.
There will be a Cash Bar if you want beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages with your meal.
We would appreciate an RSVP to this blog with the number of people in your party so we can plan accordingly.

We will attend the fund raiser on June 1st.

My heart goes out for the tragic reason you are planning this fund-raiser! Please accept my deepest & sincerest sympathies to your country & people. I will be there with a guest to help promote the much needed aid necessary for supplies, food, medicines, & help in rebuilding such a beautiful part of the world!

Riki & I will be there. It’s difficult to get reliable information about the conditions in the delta. I hope this effort will help some know that they are not alone.
