The fund raising buffet is filling up fast, though the comments are not showing here. Many people have told the Myint family they will be attending. The event is already slated to be about 2/3 full! This means if you want to go we need your RSVP, because if there is enough interest there could be an additional date set up, likely Monday the 2nd.
If you want to contribute but cannot attend the buffet there are jars at the restaurant or you can mail a check payable to Kyaw Myint (NOT to the Restaurant!) at the restaurant address.
Checks can be accepted for the buffet fundraiser as well, just no credit cards.
The final headcount will be done on May 24, 2008 - so please RSVP (in person or on this blog) by Friday, May 23 if you want to attend. If your name doesn’t make it onto the list we cannot guarantee you admission to the event!
The Myint family extends its thanks to everyone who has expressed their concern and their desire to help those affected by Cyclone Nargis, and hopes that together we can all make a significant contribution to the relief effort.
